Healey’s Copy Cat Election Year Ploys

Healey has copied Minogue three times in the past three weeks

BOSTON — Three times since the Primary, Governor Maura Healey has reached for a proposal Mike Minogue put on the table on September 10, and claimed it as her own

Minogue’s plan called for a gas-tax holiday, a day-one cut to state-mandated energy fees, and support for new natural-gas pipelines to lower bills.

Healey flip flopped on her own stances an proposed copied versions on September 22, again on October 1, and again on October 5.

“An incumbent copying a challenger, by flip flopping on her own stances, is a sign of desperation,” said Amy Carnevale, Chairwoman of the Massachusetts Republican Party.

Carnevale concluded by saying, “I am proud to see reporters documenting this and holding her accountable.” Carnevale referring to recent social media postings and interviews by WBZ tv -4 and WCVB TV 5.
