Marlborough Republican Caucuses
Dear Committee Member,
Caucuses to choose delegates from each organized Ward in the City of Marlborough for the April 25, 2026, Republican State Convention will be held on February 17, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Masonic Hall, 8 Newton Street, downtown Marlborough. Parking & entrance to the Masonic Hall are on Weed Street. Gubernatorial Candidates Michael Minogue & Michael Kennealy have both confirmed they will be in attendance. Candidate Brian Shortsleeve is making his best effort to attend.
In the event of inclement weather, or if any ward committee is unable to meet on the 17th, a caucus or caucuses will be held on February 19, 2026, at the Marlborough Public Library, 35 West Main Street at 7:00 PM in meeting room #2. Parking & entrance to the library are on Witherbee Street. If any challenge should arise from these caucuses by any individual or entity, emergency caucuses of any or all Wards in the City of Marlborough will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the home of City Chairman Paul R. Ferro.
Any voter registered as a Republican by 12/31/25 currently registered in the City of Marlborough, is qualified to run for delegate. Please feel free to invite your Republican friends & neighbors.
There will be a brief regular Marlborough Republican City Committee meeting at 6:00 PM before caucuses beginning. Light refreshments will be provided.
