Five Fraud Questions Maura Healey Can’t Ignore

With So Much Fraud Effecting the Budget,

Healey Continues Fraud Silence.

 

Boston, MA — In an election year, Governor Maura Healey cannot continue to duck reporters or hide behind friendly media outlets. Massachusetts voters deserve straight answers on public safety, taxes, and fiscal priorities.

Here are five questions Governor Healey must address:

 

Will Governor Healey address ANY fraud issues?

 

Q1. The MassDOT Overtime scandal is a month old this week. What has Healey done to investigate it? Is Phil Eng still working on it?

 

Q2. Biden told Healey about SNAP Fraud 2 years ago, then the letter was exposed by a whistle blower on March 1st of this year. Is Healey still ignoring the fraud by not sharing documents with the Federal Investigators?

 

Q3. Given U.S. Attorney Leah Foley finding so much fraud, will Governor Healey work with her to expose more? Has Governor Healey spoken to her yet?

 

Q4. With all the fraud being exposed, why, according to the Boston Globe, has Governor Healey only met with the Speaker and Senate President once in the past 6 months?

 

Q5. The Auditor said she has not spoken to Governor Healey in a year and a half on “On the Record” on WCVB last Sunday.

 

Given the SNAP, MassHealth and Medicaid fraud the Auditor exposed in the last 12 months, has Governor Healey spoken to the Auditor yet?
