Anne Manning-Martin for Governor’s Council Meet and Greet

Governor’s council is the most important position in the Commonwealth no one has ever heard of. The Governor’s council essentially approves the judges the Governor is allowed to appoint, much like the US Senate must consent to federal judges. They also play a significant role regarding pardons. Not only do they play a significant role in the selection of the members of the Parole Board, they also oversee the parole boards recommendations before they are presented to the Governor.
Anne Manning-Martin is a terrific candidate for this important position. She has an extensive background in law enforcement, is endorsed by the New England Police Benevolent Association, the Massachusetts Coalition of Police, and former Governor Charlie Baker. Please, come out and support Anne on October 8th and learn more about this very important position. I also urge you to spread the word to your friends. This is as much an educational opportunity about this board as it is an opportunity to support our great candidate!
